Litvinsky Petr Petrovich (1927)
The Honored Artist of Russia. He has graduated from the I.E.Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Achitecture (USSR, Leningrad). Participated in international, the all-Union and regional exhibitions from 1952. He was the prorector of Muhina’s art school (St.Petersburg); the prorector of Academy of Sculpture and Architecture (under the supervision of I.Glazunov), now he’s the chief adviser of Surikov Institute rector and the chief of preentrance course. Litvinov’s pictures can be seen in Russia, USA, Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, CIS etc. state and private collections. His painting can be seen in Russian embassy in Madrid. About 400 of his pictures were bought by Spain Museum of Contemporary Art. Russian president V.V. Putin has presented his picture “Kalakatronis” (Greece national hero) to president of Greece in 2002.
