Beliavskiy Albert

Beliavskiy Albert Haimovich (1934, Leningrad )

From 1947 to 1954 he studied at the Secondary Art School attached to the Institute of Painting , Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin in Leningrad . Then from 1954 to 1960 the Institute of Painting , Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin. Babasiuk and Fomin were his teachers. He graduated from the institute being studio of E.E. Moiseenko. “The Budionov’s fighters” (canvas, oil) was his diploma work. He is a member of Leningrad Union of Painters (LOSH). In the 1980s he was a teacher of painting and drawing of the Secondary Art School attached to the Academy of Arts . He is a master of genre compositions, and scenes of hunting. Beliavskiy’s works are stored at regional museums of the former USSR , they are in demand of Russian and foreign collectors are repeatedly sold at different European auctions.
