Bekarian Dzovinar Arovna (b.1940)

Daughter of famous Armenian painter Dia Bekarian who has studied at the Academy of Arts under Osmerkin and Savinov and graduated from it in 1938.

Member of the Saint-Petersburg Aquarellist Society from 1998. Graduated from the I.E.Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Achitecture (1958-1964). Participating in exhibitions from 1964; 7 solo exhibitions. Member of Saint-Petersburg Union of Artists of Russia from 1968.

Her artworks are exhibited at the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, State Museum of the History of St.-Petersburg, Vologda Regional Arts Gallery, Komsomolsk-na-Amure Museum of Visual Arts, Novgorod State United Museum-Reserve, Pskov State Museum-Reserve of History, Architecture, and Art, and also in private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, France and United States.
