Nissenbaum Leon Girshevich (1925, Leningrad- 2000, St. Petersburg)
Biography:
In 1946- 1952 he was studying in Leningrad High Art- Industry School at the faculty of monumental- décor painting.
In 1956 he became a member of USSR Artist Union.
In 1960- 70-th he was keen on ceramics.
In 1970-1980-th he was keen on painting and went on creative trip to Israel. He actively took part in city and regional exhibitions, since 1991 made several personal exhibitions in well-known Moscow and St. Petersburg galleries. Artist’s painting was widely covered in press. His pictures are preserved in the following collections: State Russian Museum Contemporary Art Museum (St. Petersburg) Regional Museum “Collection of Tsarskoe Selo” (Pushkin) Ulyanovs Art Museum Konakov Porcelain Factory Museum
