Daryin Gennady Aleksandrovich (1922-?) He was the Honor Artist of RSFSR, the People’s Artist of Russia, Laureate of M.A.Opekushin premium.
He graduated from I.E. Repin of State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Leningrad, USSR in 1951. The outstanding Russian artist B.V. Ioganson was a teacher of Gennady Daryin.
In 1959 G. Daryin created a picture – “Spring morning” (collection of Omsk Fine Arts Museum), which went down in the Soviet Art Gold Fund. This picture in it’s own is one of the best lyric genre- pictures of the XX century second part.
In 1977 there was G. Dayin’s personal exhibition in Moskow.
