Nevel’shtein Samuil Grigor’evich (1903-1983)
He has graduated from Leningrad Proletarian Art Institute in 1931. He’s the member of Leningrad Union of Soviet Artists from 1935. He’s the author of portraits, genre pictures, landscapes, still- lifes. He has exposed at personal exhibitions in Leningrad (1944, 1956, 1964, 1968, 1985). His pictures are in State Russian Museum and abroad. The wife of Samuil Grigor’evich- Mariya Petrovna- presented the collection of his pictures to Herson Art Museum in 1988.
